On August 12th, over a hundred enterprises along the power equipment industry chain "visited Weichai", touring the high-end heavy-duty engine production and manufacturing base, the technology exhibition hall and the theme product exhibition area of Weichai, and experiencing the hard-core manufacturing strength of the "chain leader" Weichai at close range. Leading enterprises in the fields of heavy trucks, light trucks, buses, construction machinery, power generation and ships in Weifang City signed strategic cooperation agreements with Weichai, jointly promoting the high-quality development of the industry chain and "linking" new momentum for the power equipment industry.
The power equipment industry led by Weichai is one of the nine key industrial chains that Weifang City focuses on developing. It has been included in the national advanced manufacturing industry cluster and accounts for about one-third of the total output value of the national power equipment industry.
At the event, Weichai showcased a full range of power equipment product solutions covering power systems, commercial vehicles, agricultural equipment, and construction machinery. Its affiliated companies, such as Weichai Lovol Smart Agriculture, Lovol Heavy Industry, Weichai New Energy Commercial Vehicles, and Yaxing Bus, made product presentations and highlighted the Weichai WOS operation and management model. This model has been selected as one of the "Top Ten Benchmark Models" by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. It is a replicable and scalable management methodology that has been exported to over 100 enterprises, effectively enhancing the overall competitiveness of the industrial chain.
